10 companies present collaboration cases at the Startup Promotion Agency's Inno-Wave League... Accelerating commercialization of super-gap technologies
Ten deep tech startups and a consortium of large and medium-sized enterprises revealed their collaborative achievements and received great interest. The Startup Promotion Agency (Director Yoo Jong-pil) successfully held the open innovation program 'Inno-Wave League', which is the core of the 'Super-Gap Startup 1000+ Project', and presented a cooperation model between deep tech startups and demand companies. At the event held on the 2nd at Dragon City in Yongsan, ten excellent consortiums participated and presented their collaborative results.

The Inno-Wave League is a platform that combines the innovative technologies of deep tech startups with the verification environments and commercialization infrastructure of demand companies such as large and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, and local governments, realizing open innovation. In particular, this year, it introduced the 'One-Team Consortium' method, where demand companies and startups jointly plan and propose projects, maximizing synergy effects, moving away from the existing individual proposal method.
In this league, collaboration cases from ten consortiums in various fields such as semiconductors, housing policy, and shipbuilding industry were introduced. Each consortium successfully solved the needs of demand companies and demonstrated and commercialized the technologies of startups, achieving remarkable results. The consortium of Wonik QnC • Lambda Micro, which won the grand prize, showcased the development of microwave curing-based high hardness/high chemical resistance polymer coating technology and its application in semiconductor process components. A representative from Lambda Micro stated, “While carrying out this project, we advanced polymer coating technology to enhance the productivity of semiconductor processes. We will strengthen our technological competitiveness in the semiconductor heat treatment field.” The excellence award was given to Seoul Metropolitan Government • CG Inside, which developed an AI application for youth housing policy in Seoul, while Hanwha Ocean • Graphy presented a solution for building AI for process risk prediction and won the excellence award.
Solumeum • WARP Solution developed an ESL charging optimization receiving model based on radio energy, KEPCO • Kevin Lab built an IoT-based monitoring platform for transformer status in multi-family housing, Hoban Construction • InfoPla developed VLAgent, a system that allows staff to automate and analyze their work directly using Vision-based generative AI Agent technology, and HD Hyundai Samho • Alikon presented a case applying an AloT-based end-to-end autonomous operation solution for monitoring and remote control/diagnosis of house fans to promote shipyard DX·AX, receiving great interest from participants.
Through this Inno-Wave League, the Startup Promotion Agency has proven that the growth potential of deep tech startups can be confirmed and that practical commercialization results can be created through cooperation with demand companies. In the future, we plan to continuously expand the Inno-Wave League to create an innovation ecosystem in the super-gap technology field and contribute to enhancing the global competitiveness of startups.
Yoo Jong-pil, the head of the Startup Promotion Agency, stated, "The Inno-Wave League is an important platform that presents a win-win model for deep tech startups and demand companies to grow together," and added, "We will continue to do our best to activate startups in the super-gap technology field through open innovation and nurture innovative companies that will lead the future of the Korean economy."
